1) Tom runs a 1st class kennel. I first met Tom when I got my dog Drake as a pup and was looking for a Pro Trainer to work with Drake and so that I could learn to compete in AKC Hunt Tests. With Tom's help Drake completed his Jr. Hunter Title before he was 1 year old. Tom helped me become a better dog handler/trainer. 2) We bought a beautiful black lab puppy from Worthington Kennels last winter and he has become the joy of our household. My husband wanted him for hunting and I just wanted him for a family pet, he has become both. When he was about 6 months old, we took him back to Tom for OB Training and then for retriever training. 3) My dog was out of control and would not retrieve birds. When I would try to go hunting, he would run all over and not come back. If I did shoot a bird, he would run over, sniff it and walk away. After 4 weeks of obedience training at Tom's kennel, Cocoa now walks calmly by my side and comes when called.
I recently sent him back for the next phase of his training which is called Force Fetch. Cocoa will retrieve anything I ask him to including birds! I look forward to hunting with him now.
